Scott V. Visco AKA - "The Musical Belly"
Where am I now?
High School Band Director @ Point Pleasant Borough High School - Pt. Pleasant, NJ. I also still play drums for Musicals at Mercer County College, and occasionally for my Faculty Band at the school. I am involved in our Musical Productions as the Pit Orchestra Conductor. I also pop into our acting classes every once in a while to share some improv games.
What I miss about being in the Mixed Signals?
Performing with great Friends and making them laugh along with our audiences.
What I miss least?
When we would not get along, whether it be over traveling, or upstaging one another, or when it became just too hard to keep performing after graduating.
My advice to current and future members:
Know your current events, sing even if you don't think that you can, because that is funny, even if you don't think so. Own your lack of pitch or rhythm. People will laugh at you yes.....isn't that the point? Just laugh too and they won't be laughing at you but with you. Also, make your partners look good, even better than you.
Graduated TCNJ - December 1997
